How does it feel to put up your arms, standing amidst a green valley ,and just soak yourself in the beauty that is nature? That is Kasol to you. The tiny little village city in Himachal Pradesh is located on the banks of the Parvati river. The city seems to appease to the nature in a way that no other city can. Lately, a prey to rapid industrialisation, it still holds its quaint magic. Not really known to Indians previously, Kasol has gained immense popularity these days. In fact, it is fondly called “second home” by backpackers in India. Though blessed with a nice weather all year round, Kasol is best experienced in the months of March and June. Known as the “Hippie capital” for a reason, Kasol should be wandered, not visited and that too on foot. Hike and trek around the region but be careful in the woods. Enjoy the tranquil banks and weave through your own imagination.
